INGREDIENTES
Papas peladas: 500 gramos
Manteca a temperatura ambiente: 50 gramos
Queso rallado: 1/4 de taza
Huevos: 6
Almidón de maíz: 1 cucharada sopera
Leche: 1 taza
Tomate perita chico sin semillas y picado: 1
Puré de tomate: 1/2 taza
Sal y pimienta a gusto
Queso fresco cortado en láminas: 150 gramos
PARA ESPOLVOREAR
Perejil picado a gusto
PARA LA FUENTE
Manteca: cantidad necesaria
PREPARACIÓN
Cortar las papas en rodajas de 1 cm de espesor y cocinarlas en abundante agua con sal a punto de ebullición, hasta que estén tiernas, pero firmes. Retirarlas, escurrirlas y cortar su cocción sumergiéndolas en agua helada. Escurrirlas nuevamente y acomodarlas en una fuente para horno untada con manteca. Colocar la manteca y el queso rallado en un bol y mezclar con un batidor a medida que se incorporan los huevos. Agregar el almidón de maíz disuelto en la leche, el tomate picado y el puré de tomate; salpimentar a gusto y mezclar. Volcar la preparación sobre las papas. Llevar la preparación a horno precalentado y cocinar a temperatura moderada durante aproximadamente 30 minutos, o hasta que el ligue comience a cuajar. Retirarla, ponerle el queso fresco y llevarla nuevamente al horno por aproximadamente 10 minutos más, o hasta que el queso se haya fundido. Retirarla, espolvorearla con perejil picado y servirla.

Garrett Melich will play the enemy military leader Andros Gaitanis, in the independent science fiction film Polaris for United Worlds Entertainment.
If Garrett looks familiar, you may remember him in the closing scene of the 2007 movie “Rescue Dawn” with Christian Bale and Steve Zahn. Currently, he’s completed work as a Secret Service agent in the comedy “Law and Disorder” (where he also faces off against Polaris cast mate Paul R. Sieber) for Beaver Dam Productions. Garrett has done work as a fight choreographer and heavy in the upcoming Roman Pictures production “Signals” and is slated to play the character of “Grayson” in Roman’s “Time Refugees.”
Garrett will be featured as an FBI investigator (and in a separate segment, as an accomplice in a 1983 murder enactment) in the Investigation Discovery series “Prison Wives.”
About the character
Humanity has not discovered an abundance of “new Earths” orbiting other stars - most worlds upon which human beings can live at all are barely habitable. The emigrants from Earth - not all of them voluntary pioneers - who’ve populated the mining worlds and marginal factory planets have adapted themselves through genetic surgery and technological enhancements to survive in places inimicable to life itself. Now a new cadre of leaders have arisen on these worlds, harnessing ages of resentment and rebellion to form the Transhuman Authority and launch a war of conquest against Earth and its United Worlds allies.
